Florian Dubiel has an academic background in architecture. He graduated from the University of Hanover in architecture (Dipl.-Ing. Arch.) and received a Master of Architecture and Urbanism degree (M.Arch.) from the Architectural Association School of Architecture, Design Research Lab (AADRL) in 2006.

He has taught at the University of Hanover, Faculty of Architecture, Germany, Institute of Information Technology in Architecture (AIDA) as an Scientific Assistant.

After working as an assistant architect for NOX | Lars Spuybroek, Rotterdam his career took a turn and led him to the visualization industry. Currently he is working as a 3D Senior Artist (Lighting/Rendering) at Realtime Technology AG (RTT) in Munich, Germany.
